The old clamps we had rotted out. These worked good. The steel is thicker than it looks in the picture. Thanks.

If my lintel bar is 4 inches wide, will this clamp fit? I'm worried it won't. Is the 4 inch clamp measured from end to end or inside lip to inside lip? I feel like the lip at one end won't wrap around my bar as it'll be too short.
