Silhouette Special Designed Masonry Fireplace Glass Door

Be sure to take all measurements to the nearest 1/16” using a steel tape measure. Note any irregularities around the opening of the fireplace, such as projecting or recessed brick, and advise us before you place an order. For complex custom applications, a photograph of the fireplace will prove very helpful.

 

OVERLAP FIT (needs hearth to sit on)

When the fireplace door is larger than the opening of the fireplace. Measure the width of the opening at the top and again at the bottom. We need the exact minimum width. Next, measure the height of the opening from the hearth (where the door will sit) to either the bottom of the lintel bar or the bottom of the finishing material (brick, marble, etc). We need the exact minimum height.

This specially designed fireplace door is the work of the craftsman at Design Specialties. They created the Silhouette Masonry Fireplace Door for wood burning fireplaces with a Projection Above the Opening, only. This sleek and modern door will not just update your fireplace function but will also add style to your entire fireplace setting.

The Silhouette’s frame is just over an inch wide, allowing the glass panels of this fireplace door to set the stage. With clear open and wide panels they will give you a birds eye view of your fireplace. 

For those who love the light design touch of the Silhouette, but want an added element of style, you can choose one of the 3 offered upgrade door designs. They are the Rectangle with Mission Window Pane, The Rectangle Sunrise Window Pane, or The Rectangle with Window Pane. The Silhouette offers many standard design and function options, all are shown above with images. One recommended upgrade is the spark protection. You can choose the Sliding Black Mesh Curtain or the Cabinet Mesh Doors adding peace of mind to your updated fireplace setting. 

Please note: Sliding mesh will add 2 inches of depth (on top of the frame dimension) into your firebox. Cabinet mesh adds 3/4 inch.

NAPOLEON products are designed with superior components and materials assembled by trained craftsmen who take great pride in their work. The burner and valve assembly are leak and test-fired at a quality test station. The complete appliance is again thoroughly inspected by a qualifi ed technician before packaging to ensure that you, the customer, receives the quality product that you expect from NAPOLEON. The following materials and workmanship in your new NAPOLEON gas appliance are warranted against defects for as long as you own the appliance. This covers: combustion chamber, heat exchanger, stainless steel burner, phazer™ logs and embers, rocks, ceramic glass (thermal breakage only), gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelainized enameled components and aluminum extrusion trims.* Electrical (110V and millivolt) components and wearable parts are covered and NAPOLEON will provide replacement parts free of charge during the fi rst year of the limited warranty. This covers: blowers, gas valves, thermal switch, switches, wiring, remote controls, ignitor, gasketing, and pilot assembly.* Labour related to warranty repair is covered free of charge during the fi rst year.
