Stainless Steel Heat Plate - MHP LYNXHP1 Lynx Replacement

The MHP Grill Lynx Grills Heat Plate | LYNXHP1 is a briquette tray that collects heat and radiates it to the food on the cooking grids. It also keeps the flames from actually touching the food allowing for more efficient and uniform heat distribution. Stainless steel briquette tray fits a variety of Lynx grill models. Constructed of heavy-gauge 304 stainless steel. Individual briquette tray measures 16-7/8″ x 9-11/16″ and American-Made. More than one may be required per grill model and many Lynx grills use the BQLYX.

Maintenance: 

Some grease and other drippings on the briquettes can add flavor to the cooking experience but you should keep large amounts of grease, food residue and other build-up off of the briquettes and tray. Luckily, the maintenance is pretty simple.

Tray Maintenance:

• Flip the tray over and turn the grill temperature to medium
• Close the lid and let it go for about 1 hour
• For heavier build-up, you can take a grill brush and gently remove the residue
