The American Hearth Boulevard VFSL30 30" Ventless Gas Fireplace, with its sleek lines, muted black finish, and exquisite linear burner, is just what you need to bring subtle drama to your modern living room! The linear burner is located between a tempered glass front and a matte black panel back for high-definition contrast and an eye-catching flame presentation. A mesh screen barrier covers the front to protect you and your loved ones from inadvertent contact with the fire.
The electrical intermittent pilot ignition system features an On/Off wall switch and a battery backup for usage in the event of a power loss. Upgrade from the on/off switch to a wall thermostat, remote control thermostat, or programmable remote control. The electronic intermittent pilot ignition system contains a cutting-edge safety pilot system that will cut off the gas supply if the flame ever goes out, as well as an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) that will continuously monitor the CO2 levels in the room. If the oxygen supply falls below a safe level, the ODS will turn off the fireplace.
With three installation options, you have the freedom to choose the optimal location for your space and desired style. The 5 1/2" depth allows the unvented fireplace to be fully installed in a 2" x 6" stud-framed wall. Recessed installations necessitate the use of the supplied non-combustible board above and around the fireplace, as well as tile or stone up to the fireplace opening. The optional trim kit hides the edges of the finishing material, providing a clean look. The partially recessed installation option allows you to install the fireplace in a 2" x 4" stud-framed wall and can be finished with the mitered decorative front. If recessed installation is not an option, the ventless gas fireplace can be hung on any wall like a picture. This installation requires the fireplace wrap and mitered decorative front.
