ATTENTION: This is a fixed size door. The overall size of the door is based off of the opening dimensions you enter. In some cases the overall size of the door is not large enough for some openings, and will not provide enough overlap.

The overall size of the door should be at least 2.5" wider and 1.5" taller than the opening dimensions of your fireplace. The overall door dimensions are listed directly above the product price, and will change after opening measurements are entered. If you are unsure if this door will work for your opening, give us a call and we will assist you.

Be sure to take all measurements to the nearest 1/16” using a steel tape measure. Note any irregularities around the opening of the fireplace, such as projecting or recessed brick, and advise us before you place an order. For complex custom applications, a photograph of the fireplace will prove very helpful.

 

OVERLAP FIT (needs hearth to sit on)

When the fireplace door is larger than the opening of the fireplace. Measure the width of the opening at the top and again at the bottom. We need the exact minimum width. Next, measure the height of the opening from the hearth (where the fireplace door will sit) to either the bottom of the lintel bar or the bottom of the finishing material (brick, marble, etc). We need the exact minimum height.

The Bungalow wood burning fireplace glass door will need a hearth to sit on and will be best suited for installation against a flat surface. We do not recommend this American made overlap fit door for rough stone. The American-made Bungalow door is pre-assembled and ships for free!

Manufacturer's Warranty

Manufacturer warrants the glass enclosures to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. Manufacturer warrants the metal work (exclusive of the finish) contained in the glass enclosures to be free from defects in the materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of installation. Discoloration of any frame piece is caused by over firing and is considered abuse of the enclosure.

MANUFACTURER MAKES NO WARRANTIES AS TO A MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE AND STRESS WHICH MAY CAUSE GLASS BREAKAGE. LIFETIME WARRANTY ON GLASS.

It will, however, replace without cost any glass that breaks in normal use. Manufacturer will cover shipping cost for replacement glass for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. Warranties also are not transferable to new owners. All warranty claims should be directed to where you placed the order from. The foregoing limited warranty is not transferable by the customer and does not include the eventual defects caused by improper use or operation of the glass enclosure or by normal wear and tear. Manufactuerragrees that if the glass enclosure is determined to be defective in manufacture within the applicable written guarantee period set forth above, and the customer provides a written notice of such defects within fourteen (14) days of the end of such period to the the place where you ordered from
