These three-sided surrounds are one-piece - for use with a DVCT Insert resting on the hearth. There are no bottom covers. For "raised" installations where the bottom of the surround needs to be closed, order a four-sided custom surround. Flush Surrounds are less than 1/16-inch deep. One-inch surrounds (PN ending in 1BL) are approximately one inch deep. Choose a surround that covers the fireplace opening. For a larger opening, use the SH1BL in conjunction with a surround.
