Hargrove Cross Timbers Vented Gas Log Set With H-Burner
You’ve got to check out the Hargrove Cross Timbers Vented Log Set with the H-Burner—it’s imposing. Imagine this: thick, chunky logs up front with this rugged, heavy bark and deep charring that makes it look like you’ve been burning real wood for hours. The detail is unreal like you can almost smell the woodsmoke just looking at it. But here’s where it gets cool—the H-Burner. It’s not your typical burner. This thing has a dual-burner setup, so you get these big, bold flames rising through the logs and these extra flames flickering in front of them. It gives the whole setup so much depth and movement. It doesn’t look flat or fake—it’s like a real campfire but in your living room.
And get this, it’s not just about looks. The heat this thing puts out is amazing. It uses this Radiant Riser technology, which pushes all that heat forward into the room instead of wasting it up the chimney. Plus, because the logs are made from this special Ceramic Fiber, it holds and radiates heat way better than other vented log sets. Honestly, it’s almost as warm as those vent-free setups, but without sacrificing that natural fire look. They’ve got different sizes too—anywhere from 18” up to 36”—so it can fit pretty much any fireplace. And you can run it on natural gas or propane, whichever works better for your setup. If you want your fireplace to feel like a fire and not just some decorative thing, this is the one to get. It’s that perfect balance between cozy warmth and that authentic, rustic vibe.
Please Note: Vented gas logs must be used in a fireplace that is vented from the firebox through the chimney. The fireplace damper must be kept open during use to allow for appropriate airflow. For your safety, the burner pan and valve must be assembled by a certified gas professional.
BURNER:
H-Burner- These come in sizes from 18 inches to 36 inches. Unlike the E-Burner, the H-Burner is a dual burner system, which means it produces not only a big flame but also provides additional flames in front of the logs. These are recommended if you're using Hargrove's Char and Radiant Heat Series Logs.
CONTROL SYSTEM:
- Manual Valve with Knob- This one's pretty straightforward. You've got a knob that you turn to manually light the main burner using a match or a long lighter. Just keep in mind, that it's only for natural gas. If you're thinking of using liquid propane, you'll need to add a safety pilot and a conversion kit.
- Manual Safety Pilot- With this system, you've got a standing pilot safety valve setup. That means you can ignite the main burner flame with a knob and adjust it to your liking. It's versatile too, working with both natural gas and liquid propane. But remember, if you're going for liquid propane, you'll need that conversion kit.
- Latchtap with Remote Control- This one's neat because it combines the manual safety pilot with a remote control kit. You can use the remote to turn the burner on and off and adjust the flame with the knob. Like the others, it's compatible with both natural gas and liquid propane, with a conversion kit required for propane.
- Variable Flame Remote Control- Now, this is where things get a bit fancy. You've got a remote-controlled system that lets you not only turn the burner on and off remotely but also adjust the flame height. It's designed for both natural gas and liquid propane, but just like before, you'll need a conversion kit for propane.
- Millivolt with Wall Switch- This one's pretty convenient because you can control it with a wall switch. You can also upgrade to a remote control if you prefer. It's versatile too, working with both natural gas and liquid propane. Just remember, if you're opting for liquid propane, you'll need that conversion kit.
