Please Note: Vented gas logs must be used in a fireplace that is vented from the firebox through the chimney. The fireplace damper must be kept open during use to allow for appropriate airflow. For your safety, the burner pan and valve must be assembled by a certified gas professional.

BURNER:

H-Burner- These come in sizes from 18 inches to 36 inches. Unlike the E-Burner, the H-Burner is a dual burner system, which means it produces a big flame and provides additional flames in front of the logs. These are recommended if you're using Hargrove's Char and Radiant Heat Series Logs.

CONTROL SYSTEM:

• Variable Flame Remote Control- Now, this is where things get a bit fancy. You've got a remote-controlled system that lets you turn the burner on and off remotely and adjust the flame height. It's designed for both natural gas and liquid propane, but just like before, you'll need a conversion kit for propane.
• Manual Valve with Knob- This one's pretty straightforward. You've got a knob that you turn to manually light the main burner using a match or a long lighter. Just keep in mind, that it's only for natural gas. If you're considering using liquid propane, you'll need to add a safety pilot and a conversion kit.
• Manual Safety Pilot- With this system, you've got a standing pilot safety valve setup. That means you can ignite the main burner flame with a knob and adjust it to your liking. It's versatile too, working with both natural gas and liquid propane. But remember, if you're going for liquid propane, you'll need that conversion kit.
• Latchtap with Remote Control- This one's neat because it combines the manual safety pilot with a remote control kit. You can use the remote to turn the burner on and off and adjust the flame with the knob. Like the others, it's compatible with both natural gas and liquid propane, with a conversion kit required for propane.
• Millivolt with Wall Switch- This one's pretty convenient because you can control it with a wall switch. You can also upgrade to a remote control if you prefer. It's versatile too, working with both natural gas and liquid propane. Just remember, if you're opting for liquid propane, you'll need that conversion kit.

• Compared to comparable vented log sets, ceramic fiber material and Hargrove's Radiant Riser provide much higher heating efficiency.
• Heat is equivalent to vent-free sets, however, realistic fire and ember beds are not achievable with vent-free appliances.
• Ceramic fiber logs were not able to achieve the level of detail that is now possible with the innovative molding method.
• The Burner System is not included with the log set and should be ordered separately. 
• H-Burner requires a minimum of 14" of depth.
