The Monessen Attribute 42" Ventless Firebox combines efficiency and style, making it a great addition to your home. It has reversible interior panels that offer two design choices on one panel, so you can customize it to match your decor. You can select from trendy grey, classic brown, or a modern reflective black glass finish to set the right mood in your space.
This firebox has advanced Monessen technology, including an angled design and specialized air channels that enhance heat distribution. This efficient setup improves airflow as it directs more warmth into your room while minimizing energy waste and lowering fuel costs. The unit also features hideaway screen pockets, allowing the mesh screens to be neatly tucked away for an unobstructed view of the fire when desired.
Ventless technology makes the Attribute 42 a practical solution for spaces where traditional venting is not feasible.
It provides supplemental heat that is easy to install and cost-effective. It meets UL certification standards for your safety and reliability (ANSI Z221.91.A2002).
Maintenance is made easy with Monessen's exclusive two-piece hearth design, allowing access without the need to remove the log set. The firebox has a generous viewing area measuring 42" x 27" (1134 sq in), creating an inviting display of the fire that enhances the ambience of your room. The unit dimensions are 48" W x 20" D x 34" H, with a back width of 37-1/4". The hearth dimensions include a front height of 25-1/2", a depth of 15", a rear width of 30-3/8", and a rear height of 22-5/8". SOMETHING TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU PURCHASE A VENT FREE APPLIANCE:
Vent-Free sets are supplemental zone heaters - They are not intended for continuous use or whole house heating.
Glass doors must be wide open when burning for proper ventilation, proper combustion and cooling of safety controls. With adequate combustion and ventilation air, the damper may be closed for vent-free use. The damper may be opened slightly for reduced venting.
Check local codes and ordinances for permitted uses.

The burner and valve assembly are leak and test-fired at a quality test station. The complete appliance is again thoroughly inspected by a qualifi ed technician before packaging to ensure that you, the customer, receives the quality product that you expect from NAPOLEON. The following materials and workmanship in your new NAPOLEON gas appliance are warranted against defects for as long as you own the appliance. This covers: combustion chamber, heat exchanger, stainless steel burner, phazer™ logs and embers, rocks, ceramic glass (thermal breakage only), gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelainized enameled components and aluminum extrusion trims.* Electrical (110V and millivolt) components and wearable parts are covered and NAPOLEON will provide replacement parts free of charge during the fi rst year of the limited warranty. This covers: blowers, gas valves, thermal switch, switches, wiring, remote controls, ignitor, gasketing, and pilot assembly.* Labour related to warranty repair is covered free of charge during the fi rst year. Repair work, however, requires the prior approval of an authorized company offi cial.
