The 2 Pilot Burner 24VAC all-weather electronic ignition system (AWEIS) is a favorite among customers and contractors alike! This outdoor electronic ignition is compact enough to fit into smaller fire features. Use it confidently in breezy or misty conditions. After the pilot is lit, the thermocouple senses the heat and transfers the electronic signal to open the main gas valve. A maximum output of 510,000 BTUs per hour allows you to debut an astonishing performance in your shallow fire bowl or other fire display. With a maximum inlet pressure of 2 PSI. The valve features 3/4-inch FPT fittings to connect with other gas components. The AWEIS comes with a heat shield and its use is optional. Available for both Propane and Natural Gas, this ignition system is powerful and convenient and sure to warm you and your guests during your evenings outdoors.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 30 VDC and 24 VDC
The 30 VDC AWEIS was developed specifically for fire features near Swimming Pools and Spas (within 5' according to the code). The 24 Volt AC version of the AWEIS can be used anywhere OUTSIDE of 5' from the pool.
