Try to find the manufacturer name and model number of the your current firebox. Where do I find that you ask. The manufacturer usually hides the metal tag inside the opening, above the refractory panels or behind the mesh curtain or inset return. Why do I need to do that? This will help us and you find the correct size door.
All our doors are aftermarket doors based on customers measurements. Even if we have the brand and model number we sill need to have the opening size. Manufactures changed openings and sizes but not the model numbers. So we want to make sure you receive the correct door.
You may need to remove the track that is there that guides your door.
Use steel measuring tape and measure to the nearest 1/16". Now measure the width and height of the steel opening where the new full frame enclosure will fit. This has to be the same place as when you would install an original manufacturers enclosure. Measure accordingly if the exiting track can be removed or not
Never measure the finish material in front of your firebox: Brick, Stone, Marble, Granite, Tile, Slate, etc.
Very important is as well, never remove or change any other components of the fireplace, like take entire steel facing off.

This covers: combustion chamber, heat exchanger, stainless steel burner, phazer™ logs and embers, rocks, ceramic glass (thermal breakage only), gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelainized enameled components and aluminum extrusion trims.* Electrical (110V and millivolt) components and wearable parts are covered and NAPOLEON will provide replacement parts free of charge during the fi rst year of the limited warranty. This covers: blowers, gas valves, thermal switch, switches, wiring, remote controls, ignitor, gasketing, and pilot assembly.* Labour related to warranty repair is covered free of charge during the fi rst year.
