The jet black firebrick stain is perfect to get a new look for your inside of the fireplace. The maximum operating temperature until discoloration will occur is 2000°F.
You can brush on: stain to firebrick, vermiculite boards, pre-cast refractory panels very easy. Certain firebricks which have a different porosity need heavier application and this will result in a longer drying time. Make sure before you apply stain mortar must be cured and dry. Any moister will affect the adhesion of the the stain after it;s cured.
NOTE:
The color you see on the sample brick could appear different if the color brick you are using is different. This sample brick is a light beige brick.
