Be sure to take all measurements to the nearest 1/16” using a steel tape measure. Note any irregularities around the opening of the fireplace, such as projecting or recessed brick, and advise us Before you place an order. For complex custom applications, a photograph of the fireplace will prove very helpful.

 

4-SIDED OVERLAP FIT
When the enclosure is larger than the opening on ALL 4-SIDES of the fireplace. Measure the width of the opening at the top and again at the bottom. We need the exact minimum width.   Next, measure the height of the opening from floor either to the bottom of the lintel bar or the bottom of the finishing material (brick, marble, etc.) We need the exact minimum height. Make sure there is enough space for the bottom frame to overlap your fireplace opening!

 

DO NOT make adjustments to sizes, we need the EXACT OPENING size.

The Grand Forge II glass fireplace door for masonry fireplaces without a hearth is available as a 4 sided overlap fit enclosure. Robust steel is the material of choice for the main frame. Decorative rivet details and an aged look give this masterpiece a vintage, Old World look that complements any decor style. Submit your measurements and a picture of your existing masonry fireplace, and we'll create this glass enclosure to your specifications.  Choose from traditional cabinet or the stylish cabinet bi-fold doors. Tempered safety glass comes in clear, grey, or bronze tints. While spark protection is not included with this door, you may add gate or sliding mesh to protect your surroundings from sparks and embers. There are 3 hinge strap designs and 6 center bar mounted handle styles to further embellish this rustic fireplace door by Portland Willamette, along with 8 beautiful powder coat colors. Mounting hardware is included for easy installation!

Please note:

  • This is a 4 SIDED OVERLAP FIT DOOR for masonry fireplaces only. 
  • Sliding mesh will add 2 inches of depth (on top of the frame dimension) into your firebox.
  • Cabinet mesh adds 3/4 inch.

Manufacturer's Warranty

Ironhaus Limited Warranty Important! Please Read This Warranty Before Installing or Using Ironhaus Products! Ironhaus products i.e., furnishings (not glass, finish, mesh parts and accessories sold separate from) are warranted to retail purchaser-user to be free from defects on material and workmanship for as long as you own your home (where enclosure was originally installed). Glass carries a 90 day warranty. Finishes are not warranted, except as found faulty upon inspection prior to use.

Because of the nature of Ironhaus finishes, instances of damage due to excessive fires, neglect, misuse or abuse will be the sole discretion of manufactures judgment for remedy. Color finishes, especially custom ordered colors may vary slightly in shade and are not guaranteed to perfectly match or coordinate. Customer/purchaser accepts risk of any slight shade variations that may occur; however, variations deemed significantly varied may be reapplied at manufactures judgment and discretion. Customer/purchaser is responsible for following recommended guidelines of care and maintenance of the product and proper operation of same (see Care and Maintenance Instructions).

All fireplace products are warranted as expressed herein in their original installation only. Products installed improperly or in non-conformance with state and local building codes could nullify the warranties expressed and implied herein. Commercial applications are warranted for 90 days on material and workmanship from date of purchase. Transit damage and results from alterations are not covered by this warranty.
