A complete system for the quick and easy installation of a chimney system that goes through a wall is the DuraVent 7" DuraTech Through-the-Wall Kit. Designed with durability and efficiency, this kit has all the necessary parts to guarantee a safe and code-compliant connection for your 7" DuraTech system in through-the-wall installations. Essential elements contained in this extensive package are:
1. 7" DuraTech Chimney Cap: As a defense barrier, the chimney cap keeps the chimney properly ventilated while preventing dirt, rain, and other outside forces from entering.
2. 7" DuraTech Storm Collar: The storm collar fortifies the chimney's barrier against inclement weather by adding another degree of protection and creating an airtight seal around it.
3. 7" DuraTech Chase Top Flashing: Water cannot enter the chimney's surrounding area as it goes through the chase top, thanks to the weatherproof barrier provided by the Chase Top Flashing. It protects the integrity of the chimney system and adds to the overall waterproofing of the roof.
4. 7" DuraTech Finishing Collar with Adapter: The finishing collar unites aesthetics and functions to guarantee a polished look where the chimney enters the wall, facilitating a smooth transition and improving the overall attractiveness.
5. 7" DuraTech Tee with Cap: The tee with a cap makes it easier to reach the appliance for maintenance and permits appropriate venting. It also connects the chimney to the appliance.
6. 7" DuraTech Adjustable Tee Support Bracket: By supporting the tee, this bracket guarantees structural integrity and stability in the through-the-wall arrangement.
7. 7" DuraTech Wall Thimble: Wall thimbles maintain appropriate clearances and guarantee safety standards are followed by giving the chimney a fire-safe route through the wall.
8. 7" DuraTech Wall Strap: The wall strap ensures a strong connection and adherence to safety regulations, which gives the chimney additional support and stability as it goes through the wall.
