In the same way that mesh curtains wear out, the mesh curtain rod can also wear out overtime due to a rust build up. This 60 inch Bypass Stainless Steel Curtain Rod is an excellent mesh curtain rod replacement. A bypass rod is composed of one continuous piece of rod that you install at the mouth of your fireplace. There will be overlapping of the mesh in the center where the roundabout is. This rod may need to be adjusted to fit your fireplace accurately. Have someone familiar with a hacksaw with a metal blade measure the rod and simply field cut the unnecessary material. This bypass curtain rod is made in the USA with high quality stainless steel.
NOTE:
- MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE CORRECT SIZE BYPASS ROD SO THAT ENDS GO INTO YOUR FIREBOX FOR SUPPORT. THE ROD NEEDS TO BE A MINIMUM OF 1" WIDER THAN YOUR FIREPLACE OPENING.
