Your wood burning fireplace should be safe! Most of our outdoor fireplace doors have an optional fireplace mesh and we encourage it because even outdoors it can keep you safe from sparks and embers that escape the firebox. Unfortunately, fireplace mesh and yes, even the stainless steel curtain rods, can wear out over time. When the time comes to replace your outdoor fire product, buy quality!

Our outdoor fireplace doors and bypass mesh curtain rods are high quality. Unlike fireplace doors, mesh curtains and the curtain rods do wear out. They are designed to take a beating from your fireplace and no product will last forever like that. But, American made stainless steel rods like ours do last longer. Just like our mesh fireplace replacement curtains!

We’re a small business and we like it that way! Staying small allows us focus on what’s important: you. We offer U.S. based customer service that’s dedicated to making sure you get exactly what you need to keep your family safe. Our experts trained us so that we can help (and if we can’t they are standing by). If our stellar customer service isn’t enough, we also offer free continental shipping and a rewards program that lets you get discounts towards future purchases! It’s how we say thank you for doing business with us.

A bypass rod is one continuous piece of rod that you install. There will be overlapping of the mesh in the center where the roundabout is.

This rod may need to be adjusted to fit your fireplace accurately. Can be field cut by homeowner with a hacksaw with a metal blade.
