36" Redan Square Hammered Copper Gas Fire Pit

A brilliant design with amazing features are all wrapped into one with the 36" copper Redan square fire pit! This tapered form features a hand hammered finish for a rustic appeal. Gather round on chilly summer evenings and enjoy the heat output of 65,000 BTUs from the central burner. A stainless steel fire pan is positioned underneath the element and supports the included lava rock. This copper fire pit comes standard with a match lit ignition, as well as a brass valve with chrome cover and matching key, a fuel hose and fittings. Everything is neatly concealed behind the access door on the side of the product. The Redan gas fire pit accepts propane or natural gas fuel, and you can even upgrade to an electronic ignition system for easy and convenient operation. This product is backed by a 1 year limited manufacturer warranty!

PLEASE NOTE:

• Copper will develop a patina over time when exposed to the elements, darkening the copper and eventually turning it blue-green. This is part of the natural oxidation process of the material.
• BE AWARE THAT saltwater environments like a saltwater pool or even salty air near the ocean can greatly accelerate the patina progression.
• The purer the copper, the more refined and higher percentage of copper in the product, the faster a patina will form.
• If you wish to keep the copper bright and red, it will need to be sealed with a product like 'ProtestaClear' or 'Eventbrite' to prevent a patina from forming. 
• For removal of the patina, we recommend the simple DIY recipe of 1/2 lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of baking soda mixed together. Using a soft cloth and working in a circular motion, gently scrub the outer surface of your copper product with the solution. Wipe it with a separate clean cloth, then rinse it with lukewarm water. Let air dry to avoid watermarks. A 3rd clean soft cloth can be used to buff the surface when completely dry.

If Purchased Install lava rock into the burner pan. Ensure that lava rock is a 1” to 2” inch in diameter for proper operation. DO NOT pour lava directly from the bag due to the dust that can collect in the bag. It should be placed naturally and NOT packed in tightly. Loose fitting is important to ensure robust flames. Be sure rocks are free of dust as this ensures the burner pan weep hole do not get clogged up. IF USED the pilot head must not be completely covered to ensure proper pilot hood ventilation

If purchased Install the glass media into the burner pan. Ensure the glass media is 1/2” to 3/4” in size & rated for use with fire. Carefully pour the glass into the burner pan & cover the burner completely with no more than 1” of media over the top of the burner. IF USED the pilot head must not be completely covered to ensure proper pilot hood ventilation.
