Rasmussen Chillbuster CoalFire Ventless Burner 13 Inch

The 13 inch Rasmussen Chillbuster CoalFire Burner can make your old fireplace a warming centerpiece again. This vent free gas coal grate for fireplaces is without a coal basket grate, so you can use your own or go without. This is a perfectly designed for a small, shallow depth, vented coal and wood burning fireplace. Upgrade an old Victorian fireplace into a supplemental heat source in a breeze. The coals are made from the refractory materials that have no potentially harmful ceramic fiber. Turn the valve knob to light the main burner for on and off flame controls and some minimal flame height adjustment. You can have this with or without a remote. There is also a thermostat option, where you can upgrade to a more specific temperature control this with a hand held remote.  Or, you can upgrade to a Variable Flame Height Remote, which will give better control to the flame height with the hand-held wireless remote.

This item is the coal BURNER only. Does NOT include decorative fireplace coal basket or grate.
You can install the CoalFire in a vent-free, vented and in reduced vent installations.

SE Controls:  Latching solenoid system controls the ON/OFF of the burner(s) with the included receiver wall switch or optional wireless remote
RE Control: Has a motor drive for remote flame height adjustment. Includes hand-held remote transmitter
S Millivolt Controls: Includes wired wall switch and is remote ready. The flame height can be adjusted manually at the control valve.

SOMETHING TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU PURCHASE A VENTFREE APPLIANCE:

Vent-Free sets are supplemental zone heaters - They are not intended for continuous use or whole house heating.

Glass doors must be wide open when burning for proper ventilation, proper combustion and cooling of safety controls. With adequate combustion and ventilation air, the damper may be closed for vent-free use. The damper may be opened slightly for reduced venting.
Check local codes and ordinances for permitted uses.
