The damper assembly runs along the bottom of the door frame below the door stiles.
INSIDE FIT - Generally, the clearance tolerance gaps can be filled from the backside of the frame using high temp silicone RTV. If the gaps become excessive (as in a stone fireplace), it may be necessary to mortar in the enclosure. Clearance tolerance gaps are determined by the manufacturer according to your opening size.

The Revelation glass fireplace door for masonry fireplaces is an innovative rendering of laser cut steel. This beautiful enclosure from Portland Willamette features a number of options that allow you to tailor its appearance to your specifications. Plus, this custom fireplace door is available as a 3-sided overlap or inside fit enclosure that will be built to the measurements you submit. The main frame and door stiles are both offered in 14 finish colors. You can keep the both the same shade or choose to offset the separate components in contrasting hues. We especially like the Polished Copper door stiles against the Antique Bronze main frame as depicted in our photos.

The Revelation door is not offered with a draft assembly, but you can upgrade to the optional hidden damper to incorporate more air circulation within your fireplace. Choose from 3 different full fold door types or select from 2 styles of cabinet doors. Clear 3/16 inch thick tempered glass is included, and grey or bronze tinted glass can be substituted if you desire something a little more dramatic. The top mounted handles will be finished in the same color as the door stiles. Spark protection is not included with this door; however sliding mesh or gate mesh is available. Mounting hardware comes with the Revelation masonry fireplace door for easy installation!

Ironhaus Limited Warranty Important! Please Read This Warranty Before Installing or Using Ironhaus Products! Ironhaus products i.e., furnishings (not glass, finish, mesh parts and accessories sold separate from) are warranted to retail purchaser-user to be free from defects on material and workmanship for as long as you own your home (where enclosure was originally installed). Glass carries a 90 day warranty. Finishes are not warranted, except as found faulty upon inspection prior to use.

Because of the nature of Ironhaus finishes, instances of damage due to excessive fires, neglect, misuse or abuse will be the sole discretion of manufactures judgment for remedy. Color finishes, especially custom ordered colors may vary slightly in shade and are not guaranteed to perfectly match or coordinate. Customer/purchaser accepts risk of any slight shade variations that may occur; however, variations deemed significantly varied may be reapplied at manufactures judgment and discretion. Customer/purchaser is responsible for following recommended guidelines of care and maintenance of the product and proper operation of same (see Care and Maintenance Instructions).

All fireplace products are warranted as expressed herein in their original installation only. Products installed improperly or in non-conformance with state and local building codes could nullify the warranties expressed and implied herein. Commercial applications are warranted for 90 days on material and workmanship from date of purchase. Transit damage and results from alterations are not covered by this warranty.
