Founded in 1979, Osburn Fireplaces is a Canadian manufacturer of wood fireplaces, wood stoves, pellet stoves, and wood fireplace inserts. Osburn began making wood stoves in response to the energy crisis of the 1970s, and one short year later, it became the first company to manufacture a wood stove that complied with the state of Oregon's strict air emission standards of the time. Today, Osburn is part of Stove Builder International (SBI) and operates out of Quebec City, Canada.
