Repairing grills, furnaces and yes, that wood stove has never been easier with this black furnace cement! It bonds metal to metal and can withstand up to 2,000°F. Remember that when you use this product, you need to wear rubber gloves and protective eye wear. You can remove the  high temperature furnace cement by sanding, scraping or sandblasting the area once it is dry and cured. Water can be used in cleaning up this furnace cement when it’s still wet. Be sure not to get this on glass or enamel however, if you do, immediately clean it up with warm water or it will permanently damage the surface. Once dried on glass and enamel, this cement cannot be removed.

Be sure fire is extinguished and that all surfaces are cool to the touch before application. Insert cartridge in caulking gun and cut tip on an angle to desired diameter. Thoroughly remove all dirt, rust and foreign matter from the surface to be bonded. Dampen area lightly with water and apply cement. Allow at least 24 hours for setting. Cement must be air cured to obtain maximum strength. Heat gradually when starting first fire after cure.
