The Submersible 24VAC Electronic Gas Fire Pit Ignition System (SUBEIS) provides a high-quality component for use in any DIY fire pit project. The first-ever electronic ignition designed specifically for use on water surfaces, the Submersible Electronic Ignition System (SUBEIS) features a reliable blend of technology and components. The 316 marine-grade stainless steel control box protects the electronic components against the elements and submersion. The unit operates on either 24 VAC or 30 VDC power to start the hot surface igniter, which ignites the pilot light. After the pilot is lit, the thermocouple senses heat and transfers an electrical signal to open the main gas valve. The stainless steel unit is designed to be a fully submersible fire manifold. When installed with a SUBEIS, should the flame go out, the system will try to relight 3-4 times. If unsuccessful, the unit will automatically shut down. The stainless steel construction of the underwater fire manifolds is rated for freshwater use only.
