The 4 inch legs keep firewood elevated above the ground, creating a pocket for air circulation.
Please Note: The black finish on this fire pit grate is heat and weather resistant. It has been electrostatically applied to ensure a smooth and sleek surface texture. We also recommend the add-on of the Char Guard which improves complete burn consistency and makes clean out easier.
