VALVES & CONTROLS: Manual Control: The burner features a manual control knob that allows the user to light the pilot as well as turn the flame up and down from the burner. This system cannot use a remote control. Millivolt: This also allows the user to control and turn the pilot light on and off as well as adjust the flame height from the burner. The millivolt control is a more sophisticated valve system that allows the user to turn the flame with an on-off switch. Optional remotes are available. Variable Control: This system includes a remote control that allows the user to adjust the flame up and down from the remote control system. This system also has a standing pilot light. Intermittent Pilot: This valve system gives the user complete control of the log set with the included remote. The included remote features a thermostat, up and down flame adjustment, and on/off control. The pilot light on this system only comes on when the log set is on.
