Position the frame in the fireplace, ensuring it is centered both left and right. Mark the fireplace at each hole. Remove the frame from the fireplace and proceed to drill a pilot hole with a 7/64” diameter at each of the four marked positions. Re-position the frame into the fireplace, ensuring it remains centered left and right. Insert each self-tapping screw through the frame and securely screw into the fireplace using a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Be cautious not to over-tighten the screws.
