The color is cast throughout the product and does not peel or chip off since the pigments are incorporated throughout.GFRC products outperform conventional concrete in terms of performance and durability. Because glass fibers are used as reinforcement, the product won't rust like steel and won't break because of the glass fibers. A stainless steel fire pan and burner, suitable for natural gas or propane, support the center match-lit burner. With its integrated ignition and 65,000 BTU stainless steel burner, it has all the charm of a traditional fire! If Purchased Install lava rock into the burner pan. Ensure that lava rock is a 1” to 2” inch in diameter for proper operation. DO NOT pour lava directly from the bag due to the dust that can collect in the bag. It should be placed naturally and NOT packed in tightly. Loose fitting is important to ensure robust flames. Be sure rocks are free of dust as this ensures the burner pan weep hole do not get clogged up.
