The LCD Skytech remote control for gas fireplaces features a 4 button easy to use interface with On, Off, Timer, and Set buttons. The crystal clear LCD screen displays room temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. A flame icon in the display screen indicates that your fireplace is on, while a low battery indicator lets you know when the batteries need to be changed. Use the timer and set features to select the desired amount of time that your fireplace will operate. Choose 15 minute intervals up to 3 hours to suit your needs. The UL Listed receiver is designed for millivolt gas valves only and has the ability to learn over 1 million security codes, plus 2 additional Skytech remote transmitters. In addition, the receiver box offers manual On-Off and remote settings for control of your fireplace, and can be operated by the transmitter within a 20 foot range. A childproof feature allows the user to "lock out" the transmitter, while a built in safety function assures normal communication between it and the receiver. This remote operates on (2) 1.5V AAA batteries while the receiver is powered by (4) AA batteries.
