The RH Peterson Real Fyre EPK-2 electronic ignition system features a non-standing intermittent pilot. Start a fire with the manual switch or with the included on/off fireplace remote control. This gas log control valve can be installed on any of our Real Fyre vented gas burners listed in the specs below and carries a temperature rating of 175° F. A flame sensing pilot activation and low profile valve are some of the highlights of this unit. It can be used with natural gas, delivering up to 120,000 BTUs, or with propane for an impressive output of 190,000 BTUs. The battery operated transmitter takes two D-cell batteries (not included). Please Note: For use only with specified Real Fyre vented burner systems listed in the specs below. Vented burners must be used in a fireplace that is vented from the firebox through the chimney. The fireplace damper must be kept open during use to allow for appropriate air flow. For your safety, the burner pan and valve must be assembled by a certified gas professional.
