This hand crafted cast iron fireback features a family of three adorable bears prying off the bark of a fallen log searching for something to snack on. Completing the design, there is also butterflies and bees, a box turtle, a bird, berries all next to a brook, all designed with immaculate detail. Imagine this fireback telling a vast variety of stories during long and relaxing fires during winter. This fireback is plated in a water-based matte black paint to help prevent rust during transportation. This paint finish may contain slight chips or imperfections which are easily removed with a wire brush, steel wool, or sand paper. There may also be bare spots which can be covered up with the (sold separate) stove polish. This polish can also be applied yearly to achieve a new look! You can either lean this fireback against the rear wall of your fireplace hearth or use the uniquely designed (sold separate) Safe-T-Boots. These feet allow for the fireback to be positioned upright, leaning slightly forwards or backwards, which can be used with numerous fireplace accessories such as wrought iron/cast iron grates, andirons, and gas log systems!
