Description

The original design of this fireback is thought to have been cast at the Pine Grove furnace in approximately 1770-1780, located in south central Pennsylvania. The urn and flower design was one of the most popular designs for firebacks in the late 18th century America. This fireback features a beautiful matte black water-based paint which helps circumvent rusting during transportation.
