This fireplace remote control kit can operate in three different modes: manual mode, auto mode, and timer mode. The manual mode uses the on/off button on the remote to light the fire and turn it off. The safety timer works in this mode, turning the fireplace off automatically after 6 hours. The auto mode allows the fire to heat the room to a temperature set between 45 and 90 degrees. The fireplace will automatically turn on when the room temperature goes below the target temperature and turn off when the target temperature is reached. The timer mode enables the fireplace to be set to operate for a set length of time, between 1 to 120 minutes.
