Enjoy the safety features of the RCK-K series gas fireplace remote control has, like the hidden childproof button switch and 6-hour safety timer. The safety timer on the receiver will alternate 30 minutes off/ 20 minutes on after 4 hours of use since the last detection of the transmitter signal. It will completely shut off after 6 hours of inactivity from the fireplace remote control.

This fireplace remote control kit can operate in three different modes: manual mode, auto mode, and timer mode.

• The manual mode uses the on/off button on the remote to light the fire and turn it off. The safety timer works in this mode, turning the fireplace off automatically after 6 hours.
• The auto mode allows the fire to heat the room to a temperature set between 45 and 90 degrees. The fireplace will automatically turn on when the room temperature goes below the target temperature and turn off when the target temperature is reached.
• The timer mode enables the fireplace to be set to operate for a set length of time, between 1 to 120 minutes. 

This gas fireplace remote control kit from Hearth Product Controls includes the remote, receiver, heat shield, and instruction manual. A backlit LCD screen on the remote displays the time, the current room temperature, the target temperature, on/off status, timer setting, and low battery indicator. The receiver can be installed inside the fireplace with the protective insulated heat shield or in a wall receptacle and hardwired to a thermostat. The receiver has 400 degrees high-temperature wires installed and features an easy-access battery drawer.

Designed for use with gas inserts, gas logs, gas fireplaces, stoves, and wall heaters.
