These logs look just like real aspen timbers, with all the details and textures you'd find in nature. They're hand-painted to look incredibly realistic. Now, here's the cool part: this set comes with something called an E-Burner. This is a special burner that runs on gas so you don't need to deal with messy wood. When you turn it on, the flames it creates look just like real flames, dancing and flickering just like you'd see in a wood-burning fire. Installing this set is easy, and once it's in, you'll have a fireplace that not only looks amazing but also works great. It'll give your home a cozy, inviting feel, and you'll be able to enjoy it for years to come. Please Note: Vented gas logs must be used in a fireplace that is vented from the firebox through the chimney. The fireplace damper must be kept open during use to allow for appropriate airflow. For your safety, the burner pan and valve must be assembled by a certified gas professional. BURNER: E-Burner- these come in sizes ranging from 15 inches up to 42 inches. They're single burners that produce a large, impressive flame. These are perfect if you're looking for a burner to pair with Hargrove's Fresh Cut Series Logs. CONTROL SYSTEM: Manual Valve with Knob- This one's pretty straightforward. You've got a knob that you turn to manually light the main burner using a match or a long lighter. Just keep in mind, that it's only for natural gas. If you're considering using liquid propane, you'll need to add a safety pilot and a conversion kit. Manual Safety Pilot- With this system, you've got a standing pilot safety valve setup. That means you can ignite the main burner flame with a knob and adjust it to your liking. It's versatile too, working with both natural gas and liquid propane. But remember, if you're going for liquid propane, you'll need that conversion kit. Latchtap with Remote Control- This one's neat because it combines the manual safety pilot with a remote control kit. You can use the remote to turn the burner on and off and adjust the flame with the knob. Like the others, it's compatible with both natural gas and liquid propane, with a conversion kit required for propane. Variable Flame Remote Control- Now, this is where things get a bit fancy. You've got a remote-controlled system that lets you turn the burner on and off remotely and adjust the flame height. It's designed for both natural gas and liquid propane, but just like before, you'll need a conversion kit for propane. Millivolt with Wall Switch- This one's pretty convenient because you can control it with a wall switch. You can also upgrade to a remote control if you prefer. It's versatile too, working with both natural gas and liquid propane. Just remember, if you're opting for liquid propane, you'll need that conversion kit. Ceramic fiber logs were not able to achieve the level of detail that is now possible with the innovative molding method. Compared to comparable vented log sets, ceramic fiber material and Hargrove's Radiant Riser provide much higher heating efficiency. Heat is equivalent to vent-free sets, however, realistic fire and ember beds are not achievable with vent-free appliances.
