While this fireplace coal basket comes with a match lit, manual ignition, there are options to add either an on/off remote or variable flame height remote for easier and safer ignition operation. All Hargrove gas logs and coal baskets come with a limited lifetime warranty for the original firebox they were installed in. Included with this gas coal fire basket are the refractory coals, vermiculite, volcanic cinders, fittings, and connector. Please Note: Vented gas coal fire baskets must be used in a fireplace that is vented from the firebox through the chimney.
