Fire Pit Log Sets

Fire Pit Log Sets

Enjoy the convenience of a gas fire pit while getting the look of an authentic wood burning fire with our line of fire pit log sets. They can be used with both natural gas and propane outdoor fire pits, and are ideal for fire pits measuring from 24 to 30 inches.  The realistic hand-painted, individual pieces offer the freedom to come up with your own arrangement. These concrete fire pit logs are glass fiber reinforced with steel rods embedded for extra strength.

IMPORTANT: These outdoor fire pit logs must be operated with a burner and volcanic ash. We recommend adding lava granules or coals (sold separately) from about 1" below the bottom of the burner to 1-2" above the top surface. This serves as diffuser to the flame and will increase the life of the fire pit log set. A direct flame from the burner will break the bonding that keeps the logs intact during normal use. DO NOT use lava ROCK, ceramic river rock, or fire glass, as this type of media is too dense can possibly explode. Install the burner with the holes pointed downward for better flame dispersion and to avoid any damage from rainwater. Disregarding manufacturer's recommendations can cause stress cracks in the product and will void the warranty.

Why do I need to use lava granules with these logs on a gas burner?

  • Having these logs exposed to a direct flame from the burner is going to break the bonding of the log sets that keep them intact, causing stress cracks that will void the warranty.
  • Nothing larger than lava granules and coals should be used. Fire glass and larger lava rocks are too dense for the gas, preventing proper air flow and running the risk of explosion.
