This low profile enclosure is laser cut from 7 gauge flat steel for a sleek and seamless look. Select the tint of your glass and choose as well your main frame finish or the door stile finish (pieces that hold the glass). With so many powder coat, premium, and overlay finishes to select from, you are certain to find the perfect shade to accent your home's decor! NOTE: The idea behind this product was inspired by some of the Fireplace Doors Online customers who were looking for an enclosure without an operable door for one opening of their double sided wood fireplaces. While sealing an entire side of a see through unit is not safe or recommended, our fixed pane fireplace doors offer a 1/4 inch air gap between the frame and the door to allow the appropriate amount of air into the firebox. This configuration takes the place of a damper and maintains that "closed off" look that some homeowner's prefer. What's most important about this solution is that it abides by fire safety codes.
