The Bungalow Special Designed Masonry Fireplace Glass Door is the work of Design Specialties, created for masonry wood burning fireplaces, with a projection (shelf or ledge) above the fireplace, and for fireplaces that need an overlap fit on the sides and an inside fit at the top. If you have a projection installed to protect items above the fireplace from the heat, then you most likely understand the term. But, if the rest has you wondering if your fireplace is right for the Bungalow, we have pictures above to help guide your choice. The Bungalow Fireplace Door not only offers you a functional perfect custom door set to your fireplace specifications, but it also offers a host of included and upgrade options. You can choose between 20 different warm earth tone colors, with two different textures offered. The Bungalow is designed with one of our widest frames of 3 ½ inches in a slightly rounded design making it a perfect fireplace door to showcase your fireplace setting. We always recommend one of the timeless colors, such as the Matte Black but if you like a bold burst of color there are many great choices, as in the upgrade Copper Fire or the slick Satin Nickel. With its wider than standard frame, the Bungalow is also the perfect fireplace door to add one of the three upgrade door designs offered. They are the Rectangle with Mission Window Pane, The Rectangle Sunrise Window Pane, or The Rectangle with Window Pane. You have many other included choices with the Bungalow, these options include the door handle design, tempered safety glass colors, and the door opening style. We also offer two choices of an upgrade with the Sliding Black Mesh Curtain or the Cabinet Mesh Doors, both offered for spark protection. We highly recommended adding one of the spark protection options for fireplace security and peace of mind. Please note: Sliding mesh will add 2 inches of depth (on top of the frame dimension) into your firebox. Cabinet mesh adds 3/4 inch.
