Immediately after use you will be able to use your fireplace and wood stove. Just remember when finished caulking first burn a low fire to dry fireplace mortar, then heat strongly to cure. When the fireplace mortar is properly cured (1200 degrees) it will withstand up to 2,000°F! The mortar will dry to be as hard as your firebrick so you can rest easy about your firebrick repair work.
