The ceramic-glazed pellets in the Slope Glaze Burner tumble the gas, producing a natural flickering flame from your choice of hand-painted refractory or ceramic fiber log. This results in a fire that more closely resembles the appearance of a natural wood fireplace. A stunning, traditional-looking fireplace can be created by adding an optional brick liner, cabinet mantel, and ember kit. The matte black finish on the included outer frame, louvers, and hood offers a sleek and sophisticated aesthetic to any environment. The optional blower will help circulate the heat in the room, providing maximum comfort. This fireplace can easily be configured with an intermittent pilot or millivolt ignition system of your choice. To conserve energy and money, the intermittent pilot ignition system option eliminates the requirement for a standing pilot. This system can also be run entirely on battery backup in the event of a power outage. The intermittent pilot ignition can be controlled by the optional remote kit. This fireplace can also be ordered with a millivolt valve. The millivolt system makes use of a standing pilot.
