The American Hearth 30" Ravenwood Vent Free Gas Log Set lets you enjoy the splendor of a genuine fire without the need for a chimney or venting equipment. The sturdy refractory concrete logs are carefully painted to highlight the intricate texture after being cast from genuine wood. The 99.9% efficient ventless Slope Glaze burner creates a visually attractive flame by tumbling the gas with internal ceramic beads. The burner will be turned off if the oxygen level in the room decreases to a hazardous level, according to the incorporated Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS). The vent free gas log set may be used in any certified ventless firebox or, with the damper closed, in an existing wood-burning fireplace. There are 3 different ignition types available for the Slope Glaze Burner: The Millivolt system comes with an On/Off Switch but may also be operated by a wall switch or remote control (available separately). While the Variable Flame system has a remote control that can manage both turning the burner on and off and the height of the flame. The Intermittent Pilot system comes with a Thermostat Variable Remote that regulates flame height and sets and maintains room temperature.
