The 3/8 wood stove gasket is a pretty common size, though only your manual can say for sure if this is the right size for your wood stove. Replacing your gasket isn’t as involved as some other maintenance chores. Actually, it’s pretty easy! Choose which adhesive you like best (we have some great options!) and your gasket, then remove the old gasket. Be sure to thoroughly clean your wood stove and remove the old adhesive then, after applying the new adhesive, put the new gasket in! It’s really easy and a fast chore that’ll go a long way to keeping your home warm during the cold months. Let us know how we can help you make your home toasty and comfortable this coming winter! Wood stoves burn more efficiently when they have a tight seal around the door and window.  The gaskets on wood stoves are what create that tight seal, but over time some of them wear down and need replaced.  Our replacement wood stove gasket is made from high quality fiberglass and is impregnated with black graphite to create a durable, but flexible gasket - even in the most abrasive of conditions. Check your stove's owners manual to know the exact diameter of gasket you need. Don't be fooled by competitor's prices! Make sure to check their shipping and handling charges! As always - our shipping is FREE! Made in the USA! To use: Remove old gasket. Thoroughly clean the area. Use a gasket adhesive to attach the new gasket. Adhesive: We recommend you purchase a gasket cement to adhere the gasket to your stove or insert. Gasket cements are used not only as the "glue" to hold the gasket in place but can also be used to seal minor cracks and pin holes in the stove body. It is not recommended that you use a sealant as an adhesive. High temperature silicone and sealants are not meant to be used as an adhesive or to fix your stove or insert.   Gasket For Buck Stoves: Gaskets For Vermont Castings Wood Stoves: Gaskets For Vermont Castings Pellet Stoves: Buck Model 26000 (Little Buck) = Needs 7 Feet Buck Model 27000 (Regular Buck) = Needs 7 Feet Buck Model 28000 (Big Buck) = Needs 7 Feet Buck Model 30000 (Carolina I) = Needs 7 Feet Buck Model 31000 (Carolina II) = Needs 7 Feet Buck Model 81 = Needs 2 Feet For Ash Pan Buck Model 85 = Needs 2 Feet For Ash Pan Buck Model 20 = Needs 2 Feet For Ash Pan Buck Model 80 = Needs 2 Feet For Ash Pan Buck Model 91 = Needs 3 Feet For Ash Pan Defiant 1910 = Needs 7 Feet Defiant Non Cat 1610 = Needs 7 Feet Defiant 2N1 0001975 & 0001979 = Needs 4 Feet Large Winterwarm Firebox 2100 = Needs 3 Feet Merrimack Insert = Needs 10 Feet Montpelier Insert = Needs 10 Feet Sequoia 2160 = Needs 5 Feet Aspen Woodburning Stove 1920 Dutchwest Catalytic 9093 2183 Large Winterwarm Firebox 1280  Reliance: 2340 Reliance Pellet Stove 2220 = Needs 6 Feet .
