Picture it as a mid-sized stack of cut oak logs, in a halo of yellow flame. This EYF burner from Monessen features a curved U-shaped burner element that's powered by natural gas or liquid propane. The whole thing is topped by a 24" wide Mountain Oak artificial five (x5) piece log set made from highly detailed refractory cement and hand-painted to resemble actual oak bark. The refractory cement material absorbs heat and will continue to radiate it even after the fire has turned off.
It activates with a push-button pilot light system that is simple to operate, and reliable to use season after season. Turn the knob to 'pilot,' push the piezo-electric striker button until it lights, then turn the knob to fire up the flames and adjust them as needed.
It also includes lava rock 'ash' that will help to conceal the artificial nature of the burner as it sets on the floor of your fireplace.
Benefits and features:
- Dual-burner yellow flames
- Heavy grate assembly
- Volcanic rock included
- Your choice of natural gas or propane burner 5-piece hand-painted refractory cement logs
