Our square black galvanized steel chimney caps by Bernard Dalsin MFG.CO. is attached to square clay flue tiles for superior climate and animal intrusion protection. Made of tough galvanized steel, this cap secures itself to a square flue tile with set-screws. Helps protect internal metal fireplace fixtures and masonry chimney from deterioration. Keeps out rain, birds, animals and debris. Arrests sparks and reduces certain downdrafts. Made of 100% galvanized steel, one piece base, 24 gauge lid, 5/8 inch mesh screen 8 inch high, and the classic look is why these caps are the best. 7” minimum required between flue tiles (overhang is 3.5”). Quick and easy installation requires only a screwdriver.
