Diamond W Closes Its Doors
ALBANY, NEW YORK
On Friday (October 14, 2011), Diamond W Products went out of business after 40 years of manufacturing quality custom fireplace doors and screens. Every door was crafted to meet the exacting specifications of each customer's unique fireplace.
In a letter sent to his 200+ dealers, company owner Michael Dorsey said, "It is with great regret that I have to inform you that Diamond W Products is closing its doors . . . We were fortunate to have strong customer support. However, the prolonged economic recession and our inability to restructure debt made our decision unavoidable."
