Our Fireplace Hoods are designed to protect fireplace surrounds, especially in the high heat application of Direct Vent fireplaces.
It seems, various building codes across the country are beginning to require the installation of a Fireplace Hood when constructing a fireplace. When installed properly, the specs provided below meet or exceed most of these codes.
Available in Powdercoat or Overlay finish to compliment your fireplace door. Mounting hardware is included.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR YOUR FIREPLACE HOOD

When using the hood over a fireplace door, measure the width of your enclosure and add approximately 1" for the finished width of your new fireplace hood.

When using the hood on a masonry or prefab firebox, measure the width of your fireplace opening and add approximately 4" for the width of your new fireplace hood.

47" x 4-1/2" depth
51" x 4-1/2" depth
